Kimo: bass
“Kimo”, nick-named for his love of the Hawaiian Islands, actually
grew-up in the Houston area. He has been involved in music most of his life
since learning to play the piano at age 5. Unable to commit to one instrument,
he switched to trumpet in grade school and later to guitar in college. When
he and George met, they quickly became friends and enjoyed jamming together.
Since George had the better guitar chops, Kimo picked up the bass and started
writing bass lines to George’s music. Musical interests include any sappy-chick
singer (Natalie Merchant, Alanis Morissette, Indigo Girls,..etc.), Incubus,
Bare Naked Ladies, and Dashboard Confessionals.
